"The one thing that you have that nobody else has is you. Your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write and draw and build and play and dance and live as only you can." (Neil Gaiman)
Hello, my lovely friends!
Today we’re taking a kind of rest day because we’ve been on the go since the day Cuinn came in. My Mom wants to rest and that’s what we’re doing. I took down all the Halloween decorations upstairs and put them on the table and we packed that stuff away. Now we’re going to catch up on some T.V. shows we missed last week and rest. I’m pretty sure that my Mom is going to fall asleep in her chair at any moment.
We’re both still talking about yesterday’s performance of “Phantom of the Opera” because it was amazing! We have that and “Love Never Dies” which is a continuation of “Phantom of the Opera” and we just might have to watch them both this weekend. I really do love this play and will always tell people who haven’t seen it to go because you won’t be disappointed. The other three plays we go to are next year, but we have a couple of things we’re doing for the holidays.
I get an email from the Denver Center of Performing Art (DCPA) and they had discounted tickets for something called “Camp Christmas” at the same place we saw the Michelangelo paintings, but this is all Christmas over the top. The tickets were $5 and I got us and some friends and we’re going in a couple of weeks. It sounds fun. We’re also going to go see ice sculptures of “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer”. We’ve got some Christmas things to do and the plan is to have everything finished before the second week of Christmas and just enjoy everything.
Have a great weekend!
