73.2 pounds lost. That means I am 26.8 pounds away from losing 1-0-0 POUNDS!!!!!! Still really hasn't hit me yet. I think when I see my body the way I want to see it then it might sink in.
I can't recall if I said my exercise for Friday. I rode 10 miles in an hour on recumbent bike and walked 20 blocks outside. Yesterday I lifted weights. I focused on lower body. Did lower ab work and donkey kicks and stretched real good. I cleaned my house with the expectations that the girl dog's owner was coming over to visit his dogs. He never came. We did talk to him on the phone and gave him the deadline of December 7th if not before then to take back his dogs. NOW, it isn't that we don't love and care for his dogs. We do. But he has a tendency to take advantage so we are keeping him in check and making sure he has goal deadlines or he would just put off getting his dogs. We have everything for them we will send with him so that should help. We have a life to live and lots of things to do and not being too used to going from one to three dogs was quite the change for us. It takes up WAY more time than expected. We are happy to help. We do have things we need to do and having 3 dogs is much more of an expense too.
I made low carb chili today. I look forward to that! That is for tonight. This morning I played in the kitchen. I made 2 scrambled eggs- normal. I made some sausage and bacon. The bacon I made 2 ways since my lunch will be left over sausage and bacon and salad. I cut the strips in half and a serving size is 2 full strips of bacon for 0 carbs. SO- I saw this girl on you tube take bacon and twist it and bake it so I did this to half a pack. Still bacon but more fun and different. Since I cut the strips in half I get 4 pieces instead of 2. The other half I played more with! I found some brown sugar swerve at the store. So I thought this is the perfect chance to try it. So I laid out the other half of pack flat on the wrack. I sprinkled chipotle powder over the strips. Then I sprinkled the brown sugar swerve over the strips and baked it at 425 until it was my desired crispness. I found the twisted bacon took 8 minutes longer than the flat candied bacon. Well breakfast was going to be 2 scrambled eggs 3 sausage links and 4 half pieces of bacon. Well. The candied bacon was fa-nominal! So that got eaten with breakfast and I saved the twisted bacon and remainder of sausage for lunch. I should have candied both. It reminded me of an hors d'oeuvre I make at the new year of a club cracker with bacon and brown sugar and chipotle pepper over top and baked. Delicious!!! But now low carb. Why didn't I think of that before?!?!?!
Round it all out with some brewed sea salt toffee crunch coffee with cream and no sugar sweetener. MMMMMMMM hit the spot I tell ya. 0 carb for that too! I am in my macros for the day because I planned it all out!
I am off insulin too and doing well!
