Day 314: Putting it Away

"We need to give each other the space to grow, to be ourselves, to exercise our diversity. We need to give each other space so that we may both give and receive such beautiful things as ideas, openness, dignity, joy, healing, and inclusion." (Max de Pree)
Hello, my lovely friends!
The other day I was taking the trash can outside and decided to take the Halloween decorations from outside down. You know that took me all of five minutes because I didn’t have much up this year. It was lightly raining that day and I just brought the stuff in and put them in the den here.
I mentioned that we packed everything that was upstairs and put that away but now the living/dining room area is a major Halloween explosion of stuff. My Mom wants to get some bubble wrap and put all the figurines in those because they’re in newspaper and we did have one or two things broken this year. Here's what the front room looks like right now. You may think it looks bad, but just wait until all the Christmas stuff comes up. Some of you know it's pretty much double what Halloween is. The plan is to have this all done by Tuesday and start bringing up the Christmas and then decorate. I think we’ll go outside first because this coming week it’s going to be sunny and nice only snow on Monday now.
