Game day pre plan

So I planned ahead for game day. I made pea soup for the pot luck. Drank water before going and ate a good breakfast s as nd lunch.
I plugged in my calories and what I planed yo eat drink later. They have no cell coverage at the bar, so glad I did it ahead of time.
I reduced my soda intake but allow my self to indulge at the bar a little. So I had a root beer to start, then a water, then a coke with water on the side. Told the bar keep I have a doctors appointment this week and can he keep the water coming. Boy did he, didn’t even ask for refills! It was funny he kept putting more straws in my drink! I had like five different color straws. I definitely got my water in. Someone else insisted I have a drink. I only planned for the two sodas. I already turned down the drink from them like three times. So I got a diet Dr Pepper. It’s funny I was the only one in the whole place drinking soda. I still think the bar keep was awesome not caring that I drink water, and actually helping me to drink more of it.
Husband drank a lot. We were supposed to drive home but I didn’t want to drive while it’s snowing. So we stayed the night and we will leave at 6 so I can get back to work for a 9 am meeting. I usually get in by 8, not tomorrow. Nice to have a job that I can show up at almost any time and just put my hours in and be ok. I wouldn’t have to be in at 9 but I have a meeting I need to be at. Sad thing is after work I have to turn around and come right back here to bring my dad to an appointment. I should have just canceled tomorrow’s meeting. Oh well.
