G = Great Game Day!
Sunday, November 10, 2019
It was a nice change to just stay home this morning and watch our worship service on live stream. The pastor closed up the current series of "Mission Possible" and the main thought was that our passions typically aren't the same as where we find ourselves when it comes to caring for God's people. He's right....not everyone will have the passion to be on a church staff, etc.
I then cleaned up the kitchen and tried to finish up the budget, but it's still there and will have to be tomorrow. Football was calling.....
GREAT games aired here today. Always enjoy the nail-biters and then double the fun watching some of the underdogs win those same games.
While I watched the games I worked on the puzzle and did get it finished. Only bummer was finding that I was right that I'd let a piece fall to the floor when I was getting started.
I looked for it then and I also looked again today even deeper. Not to be found, but I know it is around here somewhere. Even so, the puzzle is done and was fun to do.
While I was doing my Sunday thing the boys were out finishing up the leaves. Isaac actually went out and did a bit more raking without being asked which made the project go much quicker. We were SO proud of him for doing what needed to be done all on his own. Tim took him for a donut afterwards and we also decided to pay him an allowance for the work he did. He was definitely surprised by the higher allowance he earned. Maegann was sleeping as she got home about 4 am from work and I woke her up about 1:30. She is now at work again (6 to close) but should be home by 2:15 or so this time. They also scheduled her the next two days. Glad they are reworking her shifts to accommodate her school better in the coming weeks.
Now I'm Sparking while Tim and I watch "Oceans 11" -- the 1960 version. Vegas has definitely changed since then!
Tomorrow the house should be quiet most of the day with the boys gone and Maegann sleeping so I will get some paid work done that has found its way to my Inbox and then get that budget done. I will also be doing laundry. Isaac has a dental cleaning so I will pick him up after school for that event.
I'll leave you with my buddy of the day. Auggie and his new friend Fluffy. Maegann bought him the new pillow and the dog for his October "gotcha" day.
