Weight Loss is so depressing sometimes! The scale seems so slow from week to week. Trying to analyze why isn't helping but I do anyway. Even after cutting out the junk and soda it seems so slow!
It was a bit ironic that Spark Coach was about keeping up motivation for the long haul. I need to stay motivated and not give up as I know I have made progress.
To stay motivated when the scale doesn't move much will try a few of these ideas:
Put on my workout clothes right away in the morning
Listen to upbeat music
Just get moving by promising myself I only have to do 10 minutes.
Schedule my workouts
Eat healthy snacks
Drink more water
Keep my list of goals where I can see it
Reward myself by adding a dollar to a jar everyday I accomplish 60 min. of move time and then reward myself with something I want.
A few weight loss markers for me to use when the scale isn't:
My clothes are fitting better
I don't feel as hungry between meals
It is a bit easier to say "NO" to foods that keep me from meeting my goals
