Staying Motivated

Weight Loss is so depressing sometimes! The scale seems so slow from week to week. Trying to analyze why isn't helping but I do anyway. Even after cutting out the junk and soda it seems so slow! emoticon It was a bit ironic that Spark Coach was about keeping up motivation for the long haul. I need to stay motivated and not give up as I know I have made progress. emoticon

To stay motivated when the scale doesn't move much will try a few of these ideas:

emoticon Put on my workout clothes right away in the morning
emoticon Listen to upbeat music
emoticon Just get moving by promising myself I only have to do 10 minutes.
emoticon Schedule my workouts
emoticon Eat healthy snacks
emoticon Drink more water
emoticon Keep my list of goals where I can see it
emoticon Reward myself by adding a dollar to a jar everyday I accomplish 60 min. of move time and then reward myself with something I want.

A few weight loss markers for me to use when the scale isn't:
emoticon My clothes are fitting better
emoticon I don't feel as hungry between meals
emoticon It is a bit easier to say "NO" to foods that keep me from meeting my goals
