I'm revamping my SparkPage and starting the first phase of the premium coaching anew. I somehow magically lost between 20-30 pounds (perhaps that fat-zapping fairy finally blessed me?), and I've taken off a bit more with baby steps. 49 pounds lighter, I'm ready now to build on that foundation of success.

I'm shy to talk about my journey toward a healthier body. It feels self-indulgent, almost narcissistic (yeah, I gots issues), and it can be awfully vulnerable. But one thing I've seen in my time here in SP is how supportive the community is and, perhaps more importantly, how much more successful people who are part of that community are in reaching their goals. So I'm gonna peek out of the safety of my bunny borrow and try to share a little more, be open to connection as well as to change.

I'm not sure what all I'll be posting here, but I'm starting with working through the coaching stuff and whatever else comes to mind. Allons y!

{Day 1 Visualization

Imagine dropping off your now-too-big clothes at a secondhand store after you've reached your goal weight. How does it feel to let that part of your past go for good?}

It feels a little scary, actually. I've already had to start buying new clothes, but I haven't let go of my old stuff yet. I think I'm worried that the weight will come back as inexplicably as it vanished. I'd love to feel that I can trust my weight loss, trust that the changes I'm making are down deep and lasting. I want to know that I can trust myself to take good care of my body, and I don't, not yet, but I'm getting there with every positive, consistent change, no matter how small. Baby hops.

    Congratulations on your success! Keep up the good work! Those baby steps are all making the difference for you. Now you know that you can do this! I've told myself that I can't afford to regain my lost weight. for 3 reasons...all my big clothes have gone to the thrift store newly restored health is much too valuable to cast by the wayside and...I don't have a lot of years left but I want those days and years to be as comfortable and enjoyable as I can make them. So...I haven't any time to mess around with! Tracking my nutrition and fitness seems to be the key for me and will probably be the key when I reach my goal weight. emoticon emoticon emoticon
