Saw in some post about walking with a weight in one hand I have now changed it to walking with a filled water bottle as there is a place where we keep them in our dining room after filling the bottles at the filter.
I know that one should not wear wrist weights or ankle weights when walking, but not sure about carrying weight in your hand(s) while walking. Would suggest you ask if it's OK on the Message Board, Fitness and Exercise first because as we age our tendons and ligaments weaken if we have been exercising the area.
