Day 319: That was Pricey

"Show kindness whenever possible. Show it to the people in front of you, the people coming up behind you, and the people with whom you are running neck and neck. It will vastly improve the quality of your own life, the lives of others, and the state of the world." (Ann Patchett)
Shopping is so exhausting, at least shopping at Sam’s Club is. We haven’t been there since early summer because most things are too big for us, but we do get all our cleaners and stock up on meats there. We stocked up on a lot of things and probably won’t go back until next year. The one thing I hate shopping there is bringing all that stuff back in the house, it takes forever. It really is exhausting. We might have to go back because we really didn’t look at the Christmas stuff and we get our lights from them because there the big ones. My Mom was eyeing the snowman they have this year.
That was going to be our only stop, but I talked about Scooter needed his favorite hot dog treat at the Dollar Tree. I told my we could by pass it because Scooter has other treats, but my Mom wanted him to have his favorite ones (spoiled much? LOL) So we went to the Dollar Tree and they had some of their Christmas stuff up. My mom wanted to get some things for my nephew, Sean to decorate his dorm room. I went looking and found some things for the coffee bar and then found other things. The next thing we knew the bill was $82. Boy that was some expensive dog treats.
Jack Frost must be loving Colorado because the snow is coming back on Thursday and that means if we want to get outside to clean up the leaves and start putting up lights before the snow comes. First, we have to finish packing up the Halloween and taking that downstairs. There’s a small chance of snow on Sunday and we’ll get everything packed up and put away.
Have a great weekend!
