How will we follow our Creator’s plan if we are not following Jesus?

Do you know the voice of the Bridegroom? (Matthew 25:1-13; Hebrews 1:1-4; Revelation 19:7).
Jesus said, “And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink? Does he thank the servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not. So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do’” (Luke 17:7-10).
When we stand before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on judgment day, what will we have to show for the life He sacrificed and died to redeem? Have we only done what was our duty, or have we sought His will for our life? Today is a new beginning; it is time to make our life count for something other than our own pleasure.
I pray Jesus' body will wake up and have ears to hear what the Spirit of God is saying to the churches. How can we follow God’s plan if we are not following Jesus? Jesus said that what He did we will do also as His followers (John 14:12).
