Satisfying Saturday MISSIONS

I made more progress on my to-do list: deposited some checks, picked up a prescription, shopped, and shipped one of my mom’s paintings to younger daughter. I’d found a nearly perfect shipping box in a trash bin at work that took only a little effort with a box cutter and packing tape.
We spent some time this afternoon at the condo making a list of what needs to be done to it so we can start getting estimates. I cleaned out a chest of drawers we’re keeping and went through a whole drawer of cards and stationary. It’s a good thing I did, or we might have thrown out a few hundred dollars in one card.
We have a lot of good ethnic restaurants, and neither of us feeling like cooking, we ate at a Greek restaurant that’s been there since we first moved here years ago. I ordered Greek lemon rice soup, lamb shank and orzo, and green beans. We were definitely too full to even think about baklava for dessert.
