Thinking vs. Doing

Monday, November 18, 2019

My head gets stuck on this one. Sometimes I know I should do things but they can always wait for another day. It might be time to do more doing instead of thinking. I did finish one of my row by rows today. Haven't decided if it will be a table runner, wall hanging or part of a quilt. I have a box for rows that don't go together but when there are 8 or more that can be put together I'll make them into a quilt. This one is a veggie garden. I love the leaves on all the plants.

That happens to be Peanut making sure I did it all perfect. I did eat what was in the frig. today and that was all. I do have some nice peach slices for before bed.

Thank fulls
1. finished a row ( I probably have another 100 or so to finish)
2. enjoying my time with my things
3. There is a simple word game I try to make myself play everyday because i don't want my words to start disappearing like my mom's and I think of her every time I play it.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to give in and go out tomorrow. I'll take the sample that didn't work on the embroidery machine to the quilt store before I get groceries and hope and pray they don't want me to bring that machine in. After some research today I believe there is a problem with the tension. So many things to make choices about. Open season on dental insurance which I don't quite understand and getting my ticket to Hawaii and how should I????? I really would rather just live in my own little world sometimes.

Peanut seems VERY interested in this quilt! I'm going to be traveling for several weeks so may not be able to stop by as often, but am looking forward to catching up on what you've created while I've been gone!

My goodness, that veggie quilt is going to be so cute, and I agree the leaves on all the plants add to the quilt .Peanut just wants to check out what your doing, you know sort of giving his approval.
Sure hope the shop can tell you what to do on your embroidery machine tomorrow, so you won't need to try
and get it to the shop.
So I saw the hand specialist this morning., the finger is broken and also has a chip hanging on the tendon. So I need to have surgery. When? The doctor wants it done this Thursday if my clinic and the hospital were I go tomorrow for an EKG and chest x-ray, get it all coordinated and faxed to him on Wednesday, then Thursday will be the day. Otherwise next Tuesday. This is done in day surgery, with a local numbing to the finger, I don't get put out. L sure hope they drape the area well, don't think I want to watch.

Enjoy the quilting as this one again is cute. Will be interesting to see 8 different strips put together for a quilt. You do a great job with that!
