I have 4 sizes of jeans in my closet, falling to the floor big, way too big but staying up, a bit big and too tight. I guess my perfect size is currently an inbetween size. Which is ok....3 out of 4 are too big.....I'd rather that than too small. Also feeling kinda inbetween at the gym. I'm very comfortable with water aerobics, water jogging and swimming....really anything in the water is great. But I'd like to take on some machines and weights and am feeling not quite sure of myself. The treadmill is fine....but I'm not sure if I'm ready for anything beyond that. Baby steps. The main thing is I'm going regularly and I'm enjoying it and am feeling better. Looking forward to Thanksgiving. I'm not cutting out anything but dessert....but I plan on small portions. That worked well last year....and mainly my plate is turkey and veg anyway. I'm excited, staying home this year. We have a new mafia movie all lined up....I'm looking forward to it.     When I was working out at a city run community facility, I found a great class. Weight training. There was only room for 12 people in the class as the teaching weight room could only hold that many, so they'd give out 12 cards numbered 1 -12 at the front desk and when there were no more numbers, that was it! You couldn't get into class! It was kind of exclusive and you had to get there early to get your number. Anyhoo! My advice is to start with a trainer in a class that will give you a full body workout. If you can find that, you are golden! I wish I was there to help you out!! It's important to have someone correct your form when working out with weights. You never stay at 5 lbs. The whole idea is to lift heavier and heavier and get stronger and stronger. Better to do it properly with good form from the get-go.
    But do work out with weights or at least your body weight. Even cans of soup in lieu of dumb bells works if you're just beginning. Also you can watch videos on Spark and work out in front of a mirror so you can check your form. There are plenty of mirrors at the gym, that's for sure!

    I would love for my jeans to all be too big. I don't have any that fit - too big or too small. I will eat a little of everything on Thanksgiving. One plate - no seconds. I fix it all so it is made as healthy as possible. No sugar.
