Setting Happier Traditions
Friday, November 29, 2019
I’ve started a new tradition this year. Thanksgiving dinner was spent with people who love me. Some were family, and some weren’t exactly family. We ate at my husband’s ex-in-laws home. The celebration was fun and enjoyable. I made sure to call all members of my family or send a text.
Spending time with people who love me and want to be with me made the day positive.
Positive people make me happier. Having more laughter and less complaining helps me to be happier. I’m gaining new coping skills and becoming more like those positive people. Spending time with different people who love and accept me made my holiday a wonderful and happier one!
