December 3rd~cool yet nice

Tuesday, December 03, 2019

It never got to be a really sunny day, but did warm up enough to be able to rinse out and refresh water tanks. The geese were very happy birds! They are such icky critters their water gets gross! So I was very glad to be able to dump it over and put in fresh! I had dug a pond for them when I first got them, in less than a year they filled it back in with dirt , and other "stuff".
The ducks like to dig in the banks for goodies that might be in the mud so they contribute to the filling in as well, thus I keep Walmart happy by buying several kiddie pools of various sizes each year.
Thanks for the comments on Blue Boy. It was never my plan to have "pet" rabbits, but Jim snuck those two in on me. Claiming they were his, even named them with Jeep names, CJ and MJ or some such. Got them in their hutches and might have gone out to look at them a few times ..sigh. His comment..I thought you would like to have some cute bunnies! This to the woman that had an over 100 rabbit commercial rabbitery. But he knew me well..I have enjoyed these lil ones. I would have them in the house except I have dogs that like rabbit a lot!
The dogs would enjoy the rabbits a bit too much I do believe! Just looking at pictures..and dates! I was stunned..how the years go by, I did not realize they were as old as they are.
Little Mama, Taken the day they came home..April 2014!!
Baby Blue Boy, I have no idea how long Lion Head Rabbits live but I feel that he is a senior citizen.
Mmmmm now off to Google and see what more I can learn about Lion Head Rabbits!
Nite ya'al!!
