Goals & Gratitude 12/3/19

I apologize for being basically MIA on Spark People the last week. I have been so busy. Besides school, which is winding up for the semester, I am planning the Christmas party for the Angel Tree kids on Saturday and tracking down the 56 gifts that were bought for the kids. I have all the gifts organized except for 6. Those last ones will be dropped off at church tomorrow or Thursday hopefully. I have about 15 helpers for the party which will be great. We are doing an ice cream sundae bar, sugar cookie decorating, and four different crafts. Two of the crafts will be making Christmas cards and tissue paper snowflakes. The other two crafts are being organized by someone else so I don't know what they are. But she's done a great job in the past so I'm sure they'll be great. And our choir directors will be playing Christmas songs on the piano during the party. I can't wait! The kids always have a great time.
I'm working on getting my last week's worth of work done. I have the remaining chapter work due on Sunday. I have two final projects and three final exams the following week. I can't wait to be done and have a break. I so need it. I'm so burnt out.
I have been going to TOPS meetings for the last month. I've lost 4 lbs. and gained one pound back for a total loss of 3 lbs. So far I am staying at the lowest I have been in two years. I really enjoy the meetings and look forward to them every Tuesday. We are having a Christmas party in two weeks and it is a potluck. There will be ham, tri tip, and various sides. I am brings a relish platter. I will have to go to the store and look for some fancy olives and pickles.
1) QuickBooks Ch. 4 & 5
2) Read two chapters for bookkeeping.
3) Try to get caught up on the laundry. I have clean clothes but need to put them away.
Today I'm Grateful For...
1) TOPS Club.
2) That I have lots of healthy snacks in the fridge-- plenty of fresh veggies with hummus, guacamole, and pico de gallo.
3) That we've had some good rain so far this year. It's supposed to rain all tomorrow.
