Scratch that

Wednesday, December 04, 2019

Hi folks.. I have a crazy day today.. #cko workout was awesome, stopped at Shoprite grabbed essential and made stew in the instant pot for hubby for dinner tonight because it's my work holiday party.

I have a meeting in the city and a 2 hour conference call this afernoon and then the party up North. I had a plan for my day which seemed to quickly unravel and cause me undue stress.. so I ditched my original plan which was designed to "maximize" my time.. turns out all it did was cause worry about getting everything done this morning and it became too much.. My happy demeanor was quickly fading and I was freaking out about everything, like the lid I couldn't find for the pot which was in my hands and the charger since my stupid phone seems to be using the battery way too quickly these days..

So I just thew up my hands and decided, new plan.. and immediately I felt the pressure start to fade.. things started to click into place and things I couldn't see in front of me, were back in my vision..

Now I'm dressed and ready to go, I had time to eat a healthy breakfast and set the tone for the rest of the day and I even had a few minutes to share my thoughts before catching the train to NYC.

Have a wonderful Wednesday and if your original plan isn't working, it's ok to scratch it and devise a new plan!

Good for you for going to Plan B. Not always easy, but . . . sure helps!

And yup . . . that's stressed when you're looking for the pot lid and it's in your hand! UGH!

Sometimes plan B is the BEST plan.....

AND I'm cracking up about the lid being in your hand...because it's something I have done before...
