Think ahead for 2020

I was reading Heidi's blog from 12/1/19 title: 'Ready, Set, Reset' re the Winter 2020 5% Challenge' and it was a GREAT reminder of exactly WHY we are all here!!! If this blog post 'interests you' ~ please take a moment and again let me emphasize why we are all here: to enjoy life while we practice healthy living habits like doing exercise while living the good life (LTGL - little things such as drinking 8 glasses of water a day and monitoring your food intake, etc). The 5% challenge community is divided up into teams which complete for eight weeks among each other to reach weekly exercise minute goals but the LTGL challenges are non-competitive although team members post both their daily exercise minutes (AKA virtual airplane miles needed for each to reach a common chosen virtual destination) and their daily living the good life points. Up to 120 minutes a day may be posted, but I manage my weight fine with by doing as little as 90 exercise minutes a week and without need of tracking my food however, I don't even attempt to lose 5% of my weight as I currently am at my weight goal but I am welcomed as a participating team member who exercises and follows living the good life challenges just to maintain my weight.. But I got this way by joining the 5% weight loss group in the winter of 2017 after I had reached a plateau of about 166 pounds at a time when my goal weight was 158, I said to myself why not, all I have to lose is 5% of my weight in 8 weeks. Others of course join the 5% weight loss community way before that and then stay with the 5% weight loss community just as Heidi and I have.
