Hello friends.. Friday is here and I am filled with boundless energy.. that's because I fell asleep at 829pm last night and got in a solid 86 on my sleep score.. a far, far cry from the 50 the night before..
So you do the math - 86 = happy, happy, joy, joy... 50 = please let me make it through this day without hurting anyone! 🙈🙉🙊
Up at 4am and not able to sleep, after tossing and turning for about 45 minutes I decided to drive home from the hotel rather than try to sleep since traffic would be a bear later.. so I breezed home and plopped on the couch to try to catch some zzz's and not disturb hubby at 530am ... but I never did settle in again..
I was ravenous and over tired so bad decisions abounded.. breakfast - left over chicken salad on whole wheat toast with bacon.. salt, salt, salt.. if I wasn't parched enough from the evening before I totally made things worse.
Lunch was a cup and a half of my left over thai butternut squash apple soup. I had some peanut butter (out of the jar) for a snack, I ate an apple, I had a baby bel light cheese.
By about 2pm I thought I was going to pass out and my mind was a complete haze, so I made myself a cup of matcha tea.. supposed to help with alertness and whether it was real or just a placebo effect, I immediately felt clearer and like I could finish the day without turning into a bumbling fool.
Dinner was some of the left over stew I had made for hubby with brown rice and barley which was delicious the second the 5 oclock whistle blew.. (definitely earlier than normal).
Then I plopped on the couch.. and wanted something so I went to my dark chocolate stash and had a piece of that.. then I wanted something else so I had fat free Greek yogurt with sugar free cheesecake flavored jello mix and I still wanted something else, so I settled on some mint herbal tea...
Hubby got home and I reheated him the extra piece chicken cordon blue I had made Tuesday night with some peas and he was done.. and then I plopped on the couch and my eyes closed for a moment.. then I watched a little tv and decided I made it, time for bed and I looked at my watch and it was 822.. I swore it was like 945.. but nevertheless my body was DONE and I passed out within minutes, I woke up briefly at 11pm, and then settled down until the alarm went of for #cko this morning! Beast of a workout by the way.. my tank is full!
I am positioned for a fabulous weekend, fundraiser dinner/dancing event tonight, workout tomorrow morning, bowling tomorrow night and Jets/Miami game on Sunday..
