Exercising. What's better for YOU, personally?

I always hear people talking about going to the Gym to exercise, and many of those same folks always seem to complain about not having enough time in their day for many other things. I get it, I really do.
But I discovered (and this works well for me), is that I can get the same exercise and benefits, right from my own home. Whether I go for a run, with or without my dog, take my dog out for a pretty good walk, or just do some body weight or aerobic exercises AT HOME, I can get the same benefits that a Gym could provide me.
The added benefits are that I have no travel time to/from the Gym, no monthly Gym fees, and I can exercise comfortably right in the comfort of my own home, with only my dog seeing what I am doing. Another exercise that I do, is to put on some good music, I like CCR, and just dance around the house with Zephyr. I also have a stationary bike, a Total Gym (rarely used, due to space), and a set of resistance bands, so I'm pretty much set.
Gyms, to me, always seem like a competition, or a place for those 'Ego Maniacs' to show off; I'm sure you have encountered one or two.
Let's get exercising the right way, and forget about impressing others, or feeling "inferior" to those Gym Rats, who always seem to dominate the equipment. You can do this!. GET IT!
