Looking forward to 2020!

Friday, December 13, 2019

Overall, 2019 has been pretty good to me. I slacked off in eating & exercise because of my own decisions. Last tax season was my worst one yet, and it caused me to spiral off of my healthy path. I really hope to continue to make healthy choices as the new year approaches. Hopefully this upcoming tax season won't be as bad as the last!!!

I definitely feel like I always look to the past and towards the future. The decisions and choices I make now could affect what happens next!

I've learned a lot about myself the past few months. I have been in my current house for over 5 years now. Procrastination can really cause stress for me, and lingering To-Do lists really bring me down at times. I originally wanted to move, but I realize that won't be happening anytime soon. Since I will be in the house for a while, I decided to finally clean it up! I have been purging, cleaning, and organizing every room. It really makes me feel better knowing everything has a spot. It really does make life easier!

My 2020 goal is to continue to be as organized as I can to reduce stress. I also told myself I will not buy any clothes for myself or my husband unless I really need them for a special occasion.

Good luck to everyone & their 2020 goals. Let's finish this year off strongly!

Found you on the Philly group. I'm going through a major decluttering too... I just want 2020 to be lighter. Extra stuff makes me feel so bogged down, especially since I'm in a tiny rowhouse!

I love going through and getting rid of stuff in my house. It is such a great distresser. I hope you have a wonderful, calm 2020!

Pat on the back to you! You will love your home when you have it all done. Have you seen or heard Marie Kondo? I love her! On youtube there is her audiobook for free, about 4 hours long.

Sometimes we have to step away to get perspective.

Good for you on the purging and organizing. I have slowly been working on that, but getting some resistance from hubby, who thinks we might need something if we throw it away. emoticon

    Have a great weekend!
