Rough Morning

Tuesday, December 17, 2019

After not sleeping last night I headed out for pickleball at 8:00 this morning. I have a lot of fun with that game even though I am not a good player. For a lot of the time today, even though I carefully watched the ball, I couldn't hit it. Then got hit in the face with a fast moving ball. I get hit a lot, but it usually isn't in the face. Things went well for the next hour or so. The final game my partner and I went after the ball at the same time. I can certainly understand why he was running for it, because I am not all that fast and can't get to the short ones. I was coming from the back and Claude was coming from the side in front of me and he didn't see me and we collided. I ended up off the side of the court (inside, played in the gym) on the floor. Scared not only me, but the rest of the people who saw it. Everyone was ready to stop the game, worried I was hurt. No, I'm stubborn. We finished the game.

Did a little Christmas shopping after. Can't find what I was thinking of in the stores, but did have one here at home that I remembered, so will send or take that up to Ft Morgan with the gift for the older sister.

Now I am ready for a long nap.

Oh, my gosh! No wonder you are ready for a nap! Sure hope you haven't had a concussion. You may be nursing a black eye tomorrow from the hit in the face. Hope not!

Glad you remembered that you have something at home that you can take to Ft Morgan with the gift for the older sister.
