Thank goodness it's nearly over!

I'm not only ready for the year to end, I'm ready to be DONE with the whole dang DECADE!
2010 ushered in the decade with losing my dad. 2011 was good, Wayne and I finally got married. 2012 got me my new knees, and the beginning of the escalation of "mama drama". We coasted through son's high school years. Then I went to college and juggled "mama drama" along with school B.S. (no, not bachelor of science). Mom passed right before my first graduation. Finally managed to get mom's ashes interred with dad 2 years ago. Graduated with honors with my A.S. degree, specialty-accounting. Opened the shop in the midst of mom's drama. Got Hubs' rig and work settled down and our own LLC started for it. And there was the attack in April, court hearings, PTSD diagnosis and treatment (ongoing), son's friend's near fatal accident (he's still in hospital, will be for months, yet), another attack attempt by the assailant from April (in the courthouse parking lot!), more hearings, hit a deer and totaled the SUV Hubs had just got me 2 months earlier...
Yeah. Done. Ready for better things.
Like getting back on track. Getting my weight under control, making myself and my health a priority. Most of this past year has been just trying to get through each day with the PTSD. I'm finally at the point in my recovery where I feel like I CAN get back to being me.
SO- Bring on the new year, new decade, and new me!
Happy New Year, everyone!
