Goals for BLC42

Smart Goals-
Specific: I will do minimum of 30 minutes of cardio 5X per week. 1 session of step aerobics.
Measurable: I will use SP to track my workouts
Achievable: I am committed to using online/home vids
Relevant: I will increase my Cardio.
Time: Ongoing Goal!
Obstacle: My knees.
Solution: I will modify as needed but push myself!

Specific: I will do 20 minutes of ST/Yoga/PT exercises 2X per week.
Measurement: Tracking on SP & my spreadsheet.
Achievable: I can do this by doing my PT stretches & home vids.
Relevant: This will improve my balance, flexibility and strength.
Time: Ongoing goal!
Obstacle: Knees
Solution: I will modify as needed but push myself!

Specific: Lose 3 lbs during BLC42
Measurement: Tracking on my daily spreadsheet
Achievable: Cut out mindless snacking by making sure that I have healthy snacks ready to eat. Apples, protein bars, salads, cucumbers
Relevant: My clothes will fit better & I will be happier with my body image.
Time: 12 weeks
Obstacle: Time pressures with my dad's care
Solution: Preparing meals in advance and/or purchasing healthy prepared foods.

Watching my dad struggle with the rehab for his broken hip has amped up my motivation to stay active & healthy as long as possible. He was very inactive & had been recommended to get PT for balance which he refused. I do not want to be in his shape at age 85!
