It's all about perception.
I know we all have been working really hard on this health thing for the new year.
For some of us the scales have not been in our favor.
DON"T GIVE UP
It's hard to keep going when the weight won't leave but don't go with it,
There is a lot of good going on that we just don't see,
Maybe your pants are a little loser.
Maybe those salads you've been eating have given your face a glow,
Those oranges you started eating may have saved you from a cold.
Those blueberries might be keeping your gums healthy
That apple kept you away from the doctors office.
That exercise helps you to sleep better and feel less stress,
That water if filling you so you eat a little less.
You , your cells and bones, heart and lungs are all around healthier
The weight will leave just give it a little more time .
Today I looked into my steps here at spark people, I have been here 11 years
logging my walks and other exercise . So I was amazed .
This year already I have walked 45 miles . I have a lifetime number of ......
6228 miles . So now you can see how every step counts,
Every tiny little healthy thing for us adds up .
Please DON'T GIVE UP
