And the dog slept!

Friday, January 17, 2020

I am thankful that my night was much more restful as Ellsworth slept through the night for a change. So nice not feeling like I need a nap the minute I am out of bed for the day. Anyone know of natural ways to help make a dog sleepy?

There was nothing on the schedule so I tackled my "do when you can" list and I checked the pharmacy, closing a couple bank accounts and created a schedule that was needed. Then I did a little paid work and watched a Hallmark movie. Tonight just relaxing with the hubby and watching a cute Christmas movie. Bound to run out of them sooner or later!

More Maegann news today. She was awarded her Level 2 today and also her certificate for color and cutting honors. She has one more to receive for texture and is almost finished with it. She also volunteered to do a full set of highlights for a customer who had come in and requested a Level 2 student only. Made a great tip and the lady will book her again before she graduates. She said she loves the station she was given for the rest of her days there as it is right by the front door (fresh air) and no other stylists behind her so the obstacle course of bodies and styling trays is gone as well.

Isaac came home not speaking much again. Did get out of him that he wishes it wasn't a 3-day weekend because it just gives him one more day to make me mad. I told him he didn't have to choose to make me mad and we would have good days. Crazy kid! Tomorrow afternoon I am planning to have him help get the Christmas lights down outside. I need his height to make it go quicker!

Other tasks for tomorrow is cleaning out my personal "inbox" as it is getting cluttered and updating the finances again. Back to my 1-2 times/week for that task. I also have my Prayerful Planner and Bible study time which will actually come first.

Can Ellsworth go for walks? Exercise helps all of us sleep better. Have you visited with the vet about his restful nights? I believe Melatonin is safe for dogs but I'd verify that with your vet before trying it or anything else.

emoticon on the Maegann front!!!!!! That's so emoticon that she is shinning during her class and FINALLY the instructors are seeing what they didn't see before because of all the drama, yet it was right in front of their noses all the time!!!!

Just be patient with Isaac, as one day he will understand that really get it and it will STICK!!!! Besides, God's not finished with him yet, he's still a work in progress, as we all are!!!

YEA!!!!! You rested well and that's fantastic!!!! God is good and if I knew anything about dogs, which I don't because I don't have one, I would give you a hand up.

Dogs need fresh air & exercise so maybe revisit that? It'll tire him out so he sleeps more on your schedule.

I don't let my dogs inside my bedroom and when I'm too tired neither my cats. Sleep is sacred for me, otherwise, my day goes badly. emoticon to your DD!
