Silly Adventure 1

Monday, January 20, 2020

A couple of years ago, a friend and I went out for our birthdays (both in September.)
We never do the go out to eat to celebration. We plan an adventure. One year we went on a treasure hunt, seeking out covered bridges. One year we went to a place that offered an
"animal safari".
This particularly year we went on a hike to Goat Hill. At the top, it overlooks the Delaware River, seen in photo above.
As we were driving home, we saw something that looked like it was right out of an ALfred Hitchcock movie. Dozens of turkey vultures sitting in trees, right next to the local prison and local wildlife rescue facility.

Of course, we had to stop and take photos.
If that were not strange enough, as we walked around the parking area taking photos we found some things that were more disturbing.
I will relate this adventure to my healthy lifestyle adventure. There are many pieces to this journey.
Today's adventure piece is: the turkey vultures.
Today's healthy journey piece is all of the walking I did that day to get my exercise.
Tune in for part 2.
