Who Took My Motivation?
Wednesday, January 22, 2020
Our discussion was so good this morning at Bible study. The questions our leader asked really made one think about what our "wells" are that replace God at times and how the evil one will use those wells to keep us right there or even deeper into them. Looking forward to seeing what the next week's studies bring.
Once home I cleaned the kitchen before sitting down to do some paid work. Didn't have much, but wanted to keep on top of it as I've got so many files in the works again. I kept hoping motivation would show up, but it never did so I then took a short nap before fixing supper. Tonight Tim and I are watching a movie called "Infinity Chamber". It's interesting and humorous at times.
At some point during the day I heard from Maegann and reality is beginning to set in that she is going to be graduating in about a month's time. Today it hit when she went to the counter with one of her regular clients to reschedule in eight weeks and they couldn't because she will not be there any longer. Bittersweet moment for her!
She got a great photo of the two of them and I liked that you can see her Phase 2 work area (the blue chair to the left). Now she'll have a visual to remember that accomplishment.
Another silly thing I did when I was hanging out was to catch the live feed event for the Raiders. Today it was made official that they are now the Las Vegas Raiders. (They'll always be Oakland to me though.)
It was a simple press conference and I loved that the hard hats all had Raiders logos on them. It was fun seeing some of the players from years past there with the recent ones to celebrate too. That stadium is going to be so amazing once finished.
Tomorrow: laundry (lots of it) and whatever project I choose for a little more "spring" cleaning. Need to get a prioritized list so I catch everything over the next couple of months.
