The sure way to Look and Feel Younger

Wednesday, January 22, 2020

Losing excess weight lowers blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and blood sugar. Most of these improvements occur in as little as 4 weeks. You will have energy to spare and be able to do more of the things you enjoy. You will both look and feel younger. However, many of us know that but still have difficulty in losing the weight. I have a plan for surely losing weight.
Much of the problem is is due to hard to change social environments such as easy access to fattening foods, which can be compounded by a the development of a craving for unhealthy foods, a lack of will power, a stressful or boring life, or even a tendency to gain weight due to heredity. So it is not surprising that in America with so many fast food chains, obesity is prevalent.
The good news is that none of the above factors prevent one from obtaining a healthy enjoyable lifestyle and that unhealthy food cravings and habits can be tamed one food item at a time. Begin by eating one piece of fruit in lieu of a candy bar or piece of pastry, a salad instead of a starchy food, one more vegetable than usual, and substitute lean meat (or if a vegetarian just enough nuts and beans) for red fatty meat to get a sufficient amount of protein. Don't attempt big changes in your diet all at once. The sure way to change to a healthy diet is to gradually make one small change and become consistent with the one change at a time before attempting another change. But if you feel well motivated and have plenty of will power try making bigger changes at a time; if unsuccessful you can always switch to the more reliable one small change at a time method. Rome wasn't built in a day; a permanent change in your weight requires making a consistent change to your lifestyle. The easiest way to become consistent is to just make small changes to your lifestyle each week leading to a greater change each week. To stay motivated track non scale successes such as the number of fewer calories eaten each week or greater amount of healthy foods in lieu of fatty foods rather than your weight. There you have it!
