Thursday and dreary again

Thursday, January 23, 2020

Another blah foggy, gray day here, not very exciting. Even the Kits are just sitting on the back of the sofa either looking out or most sleeping. I did get a couple checks wrote out, chores, and the rest of yesterdays laundry put away. Haven't felt the best the last couple days as the dizzies have appeared again, not as bad as usual, just more of an ignorance. So today I am taking the meds. at the full doses and see if I can't nip them. Also need to get the finishing touch on last years book and have them ready for the lawyer next week. And that might be about it. Now planning to do a lot. Larry has already said that we are going to the local Bar and Grill for supper, so I don't even have to think about that. Just taking the afternoon off.

Well, making lots of typo so going to sign off, make Larry dinner, and then I am going to let the Meds do there thing and I am just going to relax. Linda

Sorry you're not feeling the best - and this weather doesn't help. It's warm and the snow is melting here but still dreary. Taking Daisy for a walk today will be pretty messy!

Will this be the last year that you have to do "farm" books for tax purposes? I mean will it ever stop the "farm" part of your taxes?

Just curious. Never truly understood that stuff, but I know that farming has a lot of things that has to be reported. I know you have to have a lot of detail, as my aunt and uncle always had lots of paperwork to do regarding the farm. Their son took over the farm and now he's got it all computerized as to my understanding. I contact him every year around Christmas or see him I hate to say at funerals and he catches me up on all the stuff he says he's improved. It is a dairy farm, so now he even know which cows produce the most milk by some computerized standard. Not sure exactly what but according to him, it was the only way to go, so that the farm made money. He's not rolling in dough, but I know that he's made some really positive changes, and plans to keep on farming.

Sorry the dizzies have reappeared. Husband just had a bout of it too, but a coworker told him something to do that really helped. I'll ask him. We'll be having more yummy pumpkin curry soup for dinner and whatever else I rustle up. By the way, it's just one snowglobe in the office; the other is at home on the piano. I may switch them around for variety. We also had fog this morning but thankfully not the heavy sea fog we sometimes get this time of year. It's warmer degree-wise outside and not so windy, but my office still feels like winter. I'm going to have more coffee, and if that doesn't warm me up, I may get out my space heater. Hope you feel good this evening and enjoy your dinner out with Larry.
