Lost yesterday

Thursday, January 23, 2020

Didn't even realize I didn't do this yesterday. I felt absolutely awful yesterday. It is a good thing I had my physical scheduled because otherwise I'd still be really down and out with the cold I caught coming home. By the time I got to the doctor's yesterday afternoon I was in awful shape. Could barely talk and didn't want any poking or prodding to go on. Did answer all those questions you answer every year for the nurse and my blood pressure was great but then my doctor came in. She's been my doc for over 15 years took one look at me and wanted to know how long I'd been sick. Only started on Tues. So I knew it was from vacation. More questions more of the same answers and then some prednisone and a Zpac and she sent me home.

Much much better today. While I picked up my drugs I did buy a couple of things to eat and cook so I'd have some nice hot balanced food. But without the frig I have to be careful so there are no leftovers. Nice chicken in the air fryer with some veggies twice today and I also did not go to block meeting.

Thank fulls
1. being believed when I say I'm just not up to something like at the doctor
2. feeling better after only feeling sick for 2 days
3. being able to stay awake for several hours this afternoon (I slept most of Mon., Tues., and Wed.)

I will go to block tomorrow and I will also do some frig shopping. That will probably be enough. I might stop at the store just to pick up a couple of more things. The 2 leftover chicken thighs won't go much further. I'm pretty sure with the temps right around freezing I could keep some milk and mayo out on the porch in a small ice chest and nothing would break into it. Buck is sure full of energy tonight.

PS...when I got off the shuttle from the airport I started my car and drove home....yesterday when I went to go to the doctor I could not find my key fob...luckily the spare was hanging on the key thingy but I still can't find the other key fob. I wonder where I misplaced my keys.

My daughter lost her keys while she was visiting me over Christmas. Luckily she had a spare with her and was able to make it home. I found the keys in the pocket of a jacket she had borrowed from me, but not until nearly a week after she left! Glad you're finally feeling a little better. Keep getting that good rest!

Sorry you are sick but glad you're getting better so quickly. When you feel better, check all your pockets & purse compartments. Mine gets hidden every now & then.

Your keys have got to be around somewhere when you used the key fob coming home from the airport. Or did you leave it in the car possibly.
So glad you had a doctors appointment, getting the medicine quickly helped you start feeling much better so much more quickly by seeing the doctor only 2 days in getting sick. Yes, there are a lot of germs floating around on an airplane. So many on those planes. Everyone with some airborne problem is floating around.
Nice you were able to spend some time awake this afternoon, bet all the pets enjoyed that this afternoon.
Our pets can keep us amused with their antics they do for attention, but we wouldn't want it any other way either.
Hope each day you will feel better than the day before.

emoticon I hope you find the key fob.
I would think it's in the car or a bag. I lost one on the edge of the floor by the door. So lucky it didn't fall out.
