I Will NOT Be Discouraged

Weighed myself a few moments ago so I could get an accurate picture of starting weight.


Good lord. What have I done to myself. Most days I don't even feel any different than I did when I was at my smallest around 208. And at that point, I still wanted to lose another 20 pounds. Gah. What a waste of a decade.

Oh well. I'm going to be re-upping at the gym, because, while I have good intentions to workout at home, I live on the 2nd floor of a very creaky apartment, so most cardio is out of the question. I can at least do some weights and stuff here, so I mainly need to be able to get on the treadmill or bike or elliptical.

I sure do wish this town had a community pool!

    You weighed today. Tomorrow it’s your past. Let it go and push it behind you. Next week you will feel proud of your results. Gym membership is a great place to start. Is there a gym with a pool where you live? Water exercise is so much easier on your joints.

    Look for a health club with a pool if you can. Aqua aerobics is really a great way to get some mobility back without injuring yourself. The water hides any missteps so you do t feel exposed to others who may be more fit. Worth the cost for me
