Chemistry Vs. Math, Theatre, And No Perfect Present...

This morning D15 and a friend from co-op did an acid/base titration in the kitchen while in the living room I tried to help D12 figure out how to add parentheses to equations to balance them. I think the girls in the kitchen had the harder task but for some reason they were able to finish before we did. I guess they were slow and steady and grasped what they were doing while D12 was not wanting my help and struggled through before she had a firm grasp of how to go about solving the problems. In the end she got it after she let me show her one more time the process.
In the afternoon the girls along with eight other theatre youth performed a number for the theatre’s board members at their board meeting. They thought it was a lot of fun and it gave them a taste of the thrill of performing the show before tech week which starts this Saturday.
This evening I browsed a few stores looking for the perfect birthday present for my husband. No luck yet. Nothing stood out as the thing I want to give him. His birthday is on Monday so I’m feeling the time crunch.
Keep moving forward! — Kohl
