Tip: I put away my large plates and eat off of small ones. I told my husband he can go back for more and more, but small plates help me. He wants to help me, right?
Scientists say that eating from small plates and drinking from tall thin glasses make you feel like you are getting more.
I try to eat slowly. I am a fast eater, so I trained myself to eat more slowly by using baby utensils. The small size of the utensils did not allow me to gobble food. At first, that frustrated me. It took awhile to get used to. I must admit, I love a big mouthful of food.
Some habits are hard to break, but that just means they are HARD to break, not impossible to break.
