I love when everything fits together between worship and personal devotion time. The word for the day turned out to be MERCY.

I am also finding Sunday's are one of my favorite days for my Prayerful Planner as I put it all together.

Came home from church and as it was still pouring rain it was conducive to a morning nap by everyone. Next thing we knew it was almost noon. I got everyone fed (bbq chicken), started the dishwasher and then headed to the living room to watch the Pro Bowl.

It's definitely more like school yard football, but I enjoyed watching everyone just smiling and laughing and not all the heavy hitting and tackling. Especially liked the touchdown by a huge Defensive End (on the Eagles). At halftime the breaking news hit about the helicopter that went down in California with everyone on board being killed. Started out as 5 and is now 9 from the manifest. One of the NBA greats (Kobe Bryant) and his daughter are gone. Always sad no matter who is on board, famous or not.

Tim will be heading to the airport in a few minutes and thankfully we have Maegann calmed down as part of her anxiety was him leaving again. She hasn't dropped this deeply in a very long time, but she definitely pulls out of it quicker. She wasn't able to talk for a bit and then it was just words and not complete sentences. Took a couple of hours and she is not looking so lost and can function. A long week, anxiety over the future (turning 18, graduating, etc.) in a month's time and nightmares about some other past traumas. Pizza and Sprite are helpful so I will use the credit card tonight.

Already ordered for delivery around 6pm.

Now I am Sparking and watching Criminal Minds. Sometimes Maegann will put on a show or movie when Tim leaves so we'll see if I'm on my own or not.

I haven't managed to get my puzzle out yet so might do that later.

Tomorrow I am canceling Maegann's 8 am dental cleaning so she can sleep due to today's happenings, but she does see her NeuroPsych in the afternoon. Otherwise, I will work on the client plan draft and get that out to them for edits. Should be a quiet day.
