Today, take some time and notice the physical and physiological changes! What you do today can change all your tomorrows.

1. I sleep better when I get in 13K steps. My daily walk makes a big difference in my sleep.

2. My stomach is changing. It can no longer handle 3 cups of coffee in a day. It doesn’t like too much hummus. If I eat too much food in the evening, I often have flatulence when I go to bed. My stomach is becoming sensitive to seeds and nuts.
If I don’t change my diet, I pay for it.

3. Taking time for yoga and meditation helps me not to worry. My BP is a bit lower when I meditate. I've also found that I like doing yoga more in my living room with my own music than going to the yoga studio. That surprised me.

4. Forgiveness is a gift that I give to myself often. Shame is a shackle that does not benefit anyone. Caring for oneself helps with caring for others.
