My January goal was to walk 10k steps/day. Then I promptly got sick... for 3 weeks! Ugh...upper respiratory nasty cough thing. Well I'm over it, and back at it! I managed to lose a couple of pounds, but did not hit my 10k. Yesterday I decided no more excuses! I did it! I walked DH, and two of my three dogs yesterday morning (2 miles in total), hitting halfway mark. Went about my chores, hoping to get more steps in. Well, by dinner time I still needed 3k more. Sooooo.... off on a short walk again! It was a beautiful twilight evening! The sky was clear, the air was crisp, and I thoroughly enjoyed a moment alone. I loved seeing the crescent moon with a lone star next to it. I got back to the house and still had 1.5k to go, so I turned right around and walked some more. I was well over 10k by the time I went to bed last night! I did a little happy dance and felt very proud! I posted a pic of the beautiful sky last night. Now, I gotta start on today's 10k!
