good news

Thursday, January 30, 2020

good evening; DS went to the funeral of his BF today. There was no one there that was young only people from the parents work. My son went in and his BF's parents were so pleased that he came. They talked and his father hugged my son and told him he loved my son. I wish he told his own son that he loved him. DS did not find out how his BF actually died, but the father said something strange to my son. His BF left furniture and other stuff for my son from a house he just bought 6 months ago. I said that seems strange. My son said "I know." The father took his phone number and said he would call my son to pick up the stuff. So who knows what this all means, but DS said he viewed his friend and said that he was glad he said "good bye." Watched my GD - what a hoot. She is so funny and we had so much fun. We were playing games. We took her to an aquarium and she loves sharks. Have a good night! emoticon

I am glad your son did go to his friends funeral, he got to say goodbye to his friend from his growing up years. Sad there wasn't any other young people there for the young mans funeral.
So happy you had a great time watching your granddaughter.

Maybe the "how" is something he isn't comfortable discussing. Glad your son made it through the funeral okay.
