Yesterday's Eating (Short Entry)

Ha! I'm laughing at myself today. Yesterday, I accidently brought only kale, half a sweet potato, and half a regular potato with my lunch. So, I essentially fasted all day until I got home. When I got home, I was STARVING and ate a lot of food. That said, I'm looking over it now and, yes, I ate a lot in one sitting, but overall it wasn't too much over my usual amount for a day.
What really surprised me was that the "finale", or the thing that I felt slowed and stopped my eating, was rice and beans (which was delicious and I'm having again for lunch today).

    Hardly any fats, but carbs gave you the boost in the spuds. Protein is key to sustain the full feeling. I eat low fat string cheese for my protein or unsalted almonds. Lo-cal and high protein!

    Just the fact that you stopped and recognized your eating and amounts, is a big deal!
    Drinking a lot of water with the foods, keeps one full too.
    You still did great, even with the little snafu. Good job!
