Saturday - sleep and healing priorities
Saturday, February 15, 2020
Woke up this morning after 9:00 a.m. Sleep continues to be a priority. My stomach is still queasy and I am going to avoid putting anything in it until it feels a whole lot better. Maybe tonight I will try some scrambled eggs. My head feels like it is splitting and my body aches all over. Can't tolerate the lights as they make me feel dizzy. I am truly flu bitten.
Update on my friend's daughter. They are slowly weaning her from the induced coma and paralysis. When she went in, her husband said it might be a drug overdose. After he got back home, he found no evidence of any drugs, the tox screen came back completely negative for any foreign substances. The hospital says they don't know how long she was out before they realized she had cardiac arrest so they don't know if there will be brain damage. Prayers continue but prognosis still uncertain. Her kids have just been told she is in the hospital. She has been there before due to mental health issues and that was why her husband thought it might be an OD. I think the hospital was less vigilant because of the possibility she OD'ed or even tried suicide and missed the original cardiac arrest. Her heart is only functioning at 20% and they don't hold out much hope! We prayer warriors, on the other hand are praying constantly for a miracle.
Be blessed and enjoy your day!
