My experience

Monday, February 17, 2020

It is probably not a good idea to base your opinion of implants on my experience. I've been a bit hard on them by eating apples, peanuts and other crunchy things that have a sneaking habit of getting under the denture. I have 4 implants and a denture that attaches to them. Last week I ate some sesame chicken and got the seeds under it. They can cause sores if I don't get them out quick enough. My usual game plan is to put in the temporary (old) denture because it doesn't fit as tightly as the good one but I couldn't find it and cause only more problems. Today I did find it and put it in and feel much better.

I also am a really big wimp when it comes to my mouth area. Any tiny little thing will cause me to be anxious and very upset. I carry all my tension thru my jaw and mouth. And when that starts to happen I grind my teeth. Really and truly the very worst idea.

This morning they turned off my internet at exactly 10 am and about an hour later the guy came with 2 new boxes for my internet and some kind of thing that lets me use the internet anywhere in my house. Just what I needed was more junk sitting on my computer table.

I really enjoyed my roast pork and gravy on mashed potatoes but didn't make it a hot sandwich. Just one piece of bread for the gravy. Really was a treat.

Thank fulls
1. I have almost all my characters thru the Valentines quests in my game and that's good because it ends on Wed.
2. Today's snowstorm hit east of us. It missed us by only 50 miles. We got just a light coating on the ground and they got 7".
3. For some unknown reason my printer decided to work today and it hasn't worked since I got home from HI.

Now that we almost had a little snow storm it's going to get really cold again for a couple of days. I'm going to stay home even tho my grocery list is growing until at least Thur. or Fri. if I can make it that long without ketchup.

Our daughter is here from the Cities and said they got 6" of snow in our area. Then saw on the local news there, a big accident happened on 494 and shut it down. Sad for that to happen. You are wish to stay home when the roads are questionable.

Glad you found your old dentures. It's sure miserable to have something get under the implants. Glad you are set up with the computer as well.

Yes I asked my daughter this evening if they got snow in the twin cities, she said not much yet as it didn't start snowed until she got home from work. We had lots of company from Mn. today, three couples . One of the fellows brother from western Mn. called while they were here and said they got 5 or a bit more snow. So the one set of friends starts back tomorrow, the other two will be heading out mid March.. Yes, I remember how first some snow then the cold weather hits again.
Glad you found your old denture to give your gums a chance to clear up from the sore spots in your mouth. Yes, we do tend to be our own worst enemy at times, been there myself with one problem or another.
Well nice that your all set up to use the computer anywhere in your home, even if you have another piece of hardware on top of your computer table. It is nice to be able to use the computer anywhere in the home.
Better go, got some more tracking to do and I have a very busy schedule tomorrow. Eye clinic in the morning for rest of instructions about the upcoming eye surgeries, then early afternoon for pre physical at regular doctors for those two surgeries. Things to get done around here also sometime tomorrow.
