When You Get A Back Injury

So 2 weeks ago, I injured my back pretty bad (I feel during ice skating). The injury side-lined me from my exercise and because of the pain, I wasn't much into preparing healthy meals. The physical and emotional crap that I carried for that 2 weeks was AWFUL. When I finally was cleared to go back to normal routine, I found that the journey back to healthy was uphill. I had the inner demons telling me that I was too tired to exercise, that it would be easier to pick up dinner instead of making it.
I never thought I'd hear those rationales again, but there they were working overtime to get me to abandon my eating and exercising.
This shows me that I always have to be on my guard and not let those emotions and negativity win the battle. I guess it's struggle that most of us are going through daily and it's good that there is a website to bring people together to combat those tough times.
So I'm back at it, and you know what I really enjoy it. Funny!
