time for some real talk

Thursday, February 27, 2020

Health issues plague me. But I am on top of it at least. Had an appt with my new cardiologist and I love him!!!
He is totally different than the last guy who was only interested in doing invasive tests.
My heart actually doesnt seem to be the real issue.
They think my blood pressure issues stem more from pulmonary issues.
And are sending me for an updated sleep study and getting me on the right cpap machine/setting.
Taking ownership in my own contribution to poor health, I have not been exercising much and I have been eating whatever I wanted.

At their, and my own advice, I am getting slowly back into a diet and exercise routine.
Now I know SP friends are going to shout, NO DIET......I get it.
But for the time being, I am going to follow a diet, to get some weight off more quickly.
My next appt is going to be for mental health. I have been going thru seasonal affective disorder and I need to get myself up out of this slump.
This is where my focus is right now.
Future plans in my personal and work life are on hold until these issues are addressed.
So, Just wanted to touch base with SP friends and say thanks for supporting me. It feels good knowing that there is an outlet and other people out there who understand and relate.
