It is blog week at the 5% Challenge.
So what is the 5% Challenge. It's an 8 week challenge that encourages participants to try to lose 5% of their current weight in the 8 weeks of the challenge.
For me, it's a good way to engage with Spark People without feeling overwhelmed by thinking I have to connect with everyone on the community feed. Mind you I scan through it, sometimes comment, but there are only so many hours in the day and I need to limit time spent online.
The challenge participants sign up for teams and then earn points for working on healthy habits such as logging your meals and water intake and exercise. Other habits are woven in throughout, allowing you to earn points while you develop healthy habits for life.
