Worrisome Week: Days #14 to 16 of Leveraging Lent for Health

I've been AWOL for the last couple of days due to a very intense work week. We're making Coronavirus contingency plans at the office, and it's not easy to take everyone's work-from-home needs into consideration while still moving our projects forward. But I'm (mostly) confident we have the right conversations and preparations underway. We'll get there; it sounds increasingly as if we don't have a choice.

So at this point, I am very glad I began to clean up my diet and improve my nutrition two weeks ago. I feel as if I'm being proactive for my health.

I do need to get moving more, though. Sadly, I've been in a number of lunchtime meetings lately...and the gym at work is quarantined anyway. By the time I get home around 9 PM, all I want to do is have a light dinner and hit the sack. And I have a morning routing that includes writing that really works for me. Sigh.

I will do this: I will commit to taking a walk this afternoon. I was successful with this pledge on Monday. I can do it again!
