Watchful Weekend: Days #17 to 19 of Leveraging Lent for Health

Hello, Sparklers!

We've battened down the hatches here in Northern California and finally feel prepared to deal with both soaking rain and pandemic concerns. Obviously, we don't know how the latter will play out over the next days and weeks, but we have people food and kitty food and medicines, etc. We call our home in the hills Tranquility Base, and it's never seemed more apt a name.

I have been 80% healthy and 20% indulgent in terms of food these past few days. I had a slice of an amazing apple pie yesterday, and I do believe I'll savor another tonight. Other than that, I remain sugarfree, so it's not as if I've blown my eating plan entirely. I am modifying it, and at present, given the situation, that feels good and right.

I'm work from home as of last Friday, and I am focusing on creating a good solid routine for myself. Blogging will certainly be a part of that, so keep checking back as I continue to share my journey!
