Goals & Gratitude 3/18/20

So despite everything being crazy, I have some excellent news.
I am now working from home and will be working full time, 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. And my boss said that I will go on the payroll around April 15th (tax day). I am so excited about this! I really love this job and would keep doing it as an unpaid intern, but getting paid is so much better! I'm not sure if I will continue full time or part time when I get paid, but I will wait to talk to him about that in a month. In the meantime, we are busier than ever. I work for a firm that does taxes, bookkeeping, and payroll for individuals and private corporations, and tax day is still April 15th. I am prepping documents for tax clients so that everything is ready for the boss when he meets (via telephone) with the clients. It's more computer/secretarial work, but I am learning tons about computers, particularly Adobe editor, so it's good for me. I won't be doing this forever and will move on to other things. I am also still doing the books for a small, private corporation, and have been working on that in between other things for the last month. And I have to keep the client list spreadsheet information up to date every day. In other words, I am super busy whether I am in the office or at home. And I'm super happy about all of it.
Otherwise, it's quiet here. I have plenty of food, though I will probably run out of veggies by Sunday, so I will have to make some time to go to the market and see if they have anything this weekend. I have plenty of dried goods and will make do with what I have for the next couple of weeks. Everything is closed here like everywhere else. My church is figuring out how to live stream services, and the priest, deacon, alter servers, and a chanter or two (no more than 10 people) will serve on Friday nights and Sunday mornings. Our priest tried to do a live streaming test tonight, but it didn't go too well and I gave up on it after an hour of waiting. We're going to have a Parish Town Hall meeting tomorrow evening which I will go to even though I don't have any questions as of right now. But I'm glad they're having it. We're trying to figure out how to have virtual coffee hour, Zoom Sunday school, etc. I'm looking forward to helping!
Some goals for the rest of March:
1) Get up a half hour earlier and do a 20 minute Leslie Sansone walk before work.
2) Continue to eat healthy and stay within my calorie range 6 days per week.
3) Weigh in every Wed. and Sat. and report to my groups.
4) Add 10 minutes of strength training 3-4 days per week. In other words, use those weights that are by my desk.
Today I'm Grateful For...
1) Leslie Sansone DVDs
2) That I'm healthy.
3) That I'm going to get paid soon!
