I missed this quote in James Clear’s book Atomic Habits. It was brought to my attention today and was worth sharing. Those of us that have been on a path of self improvement, whether it’s weight loss, finances or relationships, we know the drill. We know there are a handful of things we must do consistently to achieve results. James Clear takes it to another level. We must be endlessly fascinated by these things. I love those two words together. Endlessly fascinated.
Does that describe your journey? Maybe, but probably not, right? I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not always thrilled to do all the things that promise my results. I can also be the first to acknowledge that I’m not seeing the results I want. But I do believe I can do better. I’m going to spend some time today reflecting on how I can show up endlessly fascinated by doing the same things over and over.
