Again, just jumping on here to note stuff when I get a chance since my son is now using my computer to do school work during the days.

I had a pretty good day yesterday. I did eat dried fruit, which I shouldn't eat and is now gone so no more temptation with that. And I have been using things in my house for dinners, so I made a casserole with pasta and had some of that. Not a huge amount maybe a half cup. But I felt guilty and paranoid it would raise my weight because I know it would raise my blood sugar!

I am making up for it today. I already made a frattatta so I just have to reheat it for dinner. I still have left over baked sweet potatoes. So that will be dinner tonight. I am going to try to put in place, making dinner in the morning and storing it and reheating it later so I don't turn to easy stuff that throws me off track. That tends to help me plan better and stay on track.

I didn't weigh today, because of the fruit and pasta. I didn't want to take the chance. So I will wait. No, I don't weigh every day. But I do check if I am feeling different.

I have to go out on Thursday. I am trying to put lists together so I get as much stuff as I NEED when I go out so there are less trips to make. I am choosing which store or stores that would have most things to limit how many places I go. What are some low carb staples that might be out there in the stores still? What school supplies might I need for my son? Anything else I may need for the house or dog? Miscellaneous stuff? I am welcome to ideas. I will never over buy stuff ... only stuff I find as a need. But sometimes I forget the obvious so someone mentioning it may be helpful to me. So, please chime in if you think of something.

Today is beautiful. 70 and sunny! I am so grateful to have this day. I was having issues getting air in yesterday with my breathing. I felt choked or strangled. I basically have nothing other wrong besides my back injury and tilted pelvis that is giving me pain. Maybe it is humidity or allergies? It is mostly in my throat. I do try to have the doors open to my home to get fresh air and light into my house. And I go outside when it is nice out. We had lunch outside today. Warmer outside than in my house. I made egg salad for myself and my son had left over pasta casserole. He is doing some chores right now, but he will be back to his English class soon!

Everyone stay safe and smart out there. Don't take the chance if you don't have to. And practice patience!
