just sayin’ … it’s a sad day

Thinner has been with me for 35 years … through thin and thick.
She’s helped me see “thinner” days and put up with me yelling at her when she told me things I didn’t want to hear.
I got her when I was a Leader for Weight Watchers and she went to all the At-Work Classes I lead. She saw many, many members reach their goal weight.
She knew me when I weighed 130-135.
She knew me when I weighed 260.5.
And saw me get under 200.
And saw me match hubby’s weight of 170.
And then saw me get down to 159.5 in 2017.
And yelled at me as I went back up to 230. Ok … I was the one yelling.
I hoped to see those lower numbers again with her … even have her around when I get back to 145 my ultimate goal.
She has a “lifetime” non-replaceable battery in her … not my lifetime … hers.
The parent company doesn’t even exist for me to let them know … she’s … she’s gone.
It’s a sad day.
Before anyone tells me … she was JUST a scale.
ONLY one tool in the road to returning to healthy.
Remember, it’s a sad day.
How will I ever, ever replace her???
